Founded in March 2013, GCTU is the premier higher education institution in the Western Region of Ghana. The Center is located across the Star of the Sea Cathedral, near Vodafone (now Telecel) Regional Office. The Center is about 222 kilometers from the main campus, Accra and 5 minutes’ drive from Takoradi Airport.
Modern facilities like computer and engineering labs, a library, study bay, and comfortable lecture rooms are available to support teaching and learning. In order to further the goals and objectives of the university, the Centre provides a safe and secure environment where faculty, staff, and students can live and learn together.
The faculty members at the Centre come from a variety of backgrounds, including economics, and other professional development programs. Our graduate and undergraduate programs are designed to satisfy industry requirements and needs. Our faculty members assist students in their individual fields as well as offering university and community services.
